Dear member of the Pathology Committee,
Welcome to participate in the interobserver round of grading of
prostate cancer and
diagnosis of focal lesions. The results will be presented at the Pathology Committee
meeting in Leiden on November 3rd, 2006.
The series of virtual slides contains 20 cases. Cases A1-11 are carcinomas, and of
those the Gleason scores will be asked. Cases B1-B9 are focal lesions, and your
diagnosis of the lesion is asked. To make your work easier, the foci of interest are
marked on the slide. For most cases immunostains (AMACR & CK5/6*) can also
be inspected. Please submit your answers by October 22nd.
