The terms "atypical lobular hyperplasia" ("ALH") or "LIN1" refer to lesions whose lobular architecture is maintained. The acini or one or more lobules are expanded to varying degrees by loosely cohesive small cells with uniform round nuclei. Mitoses are rare. In addition to LIN1 (ALH), sample 1 contains a small focus of collagenous spherulosis, which has no clinical significance.
