Histologically a highly variable mixture of large cysts, calcification, fibrosis, and proliferating ductal epithelium. The epithelium shows a variable pattern of apocrine metaplasia, solid or fenestrated hyper-
plasia, and occasional papillary growth pattern. The myoepithelium is often prominent. No cellular atypia. |
