Pseudolymphoma

up one level

Pseudolymphoma is a benign subcutaneous process which resembles malignant lymphoma. Underneath the epidermis there are dense lymphocytic infiltrates with pale germinal centers. These are occasionally characterized by 'Starry-sky' morphology. Kappa and lambda immunohistochemistry reveals the non-clonal nature of the cells, thereby distinguishing it from malignant lymphoma.
