Microglandular adenosis

up one level

Microglandular adenosis is characterized by a diffuse haphazard proliferation of small round glands. The glands may be clustered but lack sclerosis or compression. The epithelium is cuboidal and shows no nuclear atypia. Myoepithelium is absent, but the glands are surrounded by an intact basement membrane.
