Quickstart tutorial (2/8) - Your browser

If you choose to view the slides with the DHTML viewer
(requires no plugin installation), any browser will work.

To enable viewing with the faster streaming mode, you need to
install a small plugin to your browser. Supported browsers are MS IE Explorer
and Mozilla FireFox.

The plug-in can be easily uninstalled in Windows Control panel;
Add and Remove programs.

When you try to view a virtual slide for the first time your browser will
prompt you to download a browser plugin. The installation procedure is
a bit different in MS Internet Explorer and FireFox:

A. MS Internet Explorer:

1) Click the 'Install Plug-In' button

2. From the yellow banner, select 'Install ActiveX control'

3. Then you can install the plugin:

4. And sometimes a second verification is required:

5. And a click on the run button:

6. When you see this logo youre done!

B. FireFox

1) Click the 'Install Plug-In' button

2) If you see a yellow banner, click the 'Edit options' button

3) Click the 'Allow' button in the dialog box

4) And then 'Install now'

When the installation is complete, you should re-click the link
you started with (it might not redirect you automatically)
