Clinical History
A 59-year-old man was admitted to the hospital with a recent onset of dyspnea and previous history of arrythmias. Hemodynamic study showed normal coronary arteries and a hypertrophic left ventricle with infero-basal and lateral akynesia and severe mitral vale insufficiency. An endomyocardial biopsy was performed.
