Clinical History Male 66, presented with a cystic mass of the left parotid gland, which fluctuated in size. It was sometimes painful, but not tender on examination. The facial nerve was intact. An MRI scan showed a 12 mm superficially located left parotid lesion. On macroscopic examination: parotid gland 80x55x25x mm, containing a cystic lesion 15x10x8mm.
