84 F. Hospitalized from nursing home because of confusion and fever. Severely hyponatremic, developed pneumonia, and subsequently hydrocephalus. Clinically suspected disseminated pulmonary carcinoma with meningeal metastasing. Autopsy specimen from brain base including optic chiasm and infundibulum.
